This will also be performed if you have cavities to protect the exposed tooth from infection or further damage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

#2: Tooth Reattachment<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If you enjoy playing sports or any other physical activity, then you know the risks of getting a tooth knocked-out. Though this can be alarming you\u2019ll want to handle the tooth carefully, so your dentist has a better chance at reattaching it in its socket. Firstly, pick up the tooth by the crown instead of the roots to avoid damaging them. Rinse it gently with water and try preserving it in a cup or Ziploc bag of milk.
